Matt, do you have them professionally "restored" or just slip a shoe tree in and give them a good polish?
SOMETIMES A HEAL OR A SOLE NEEDS TENDING TO- BUT USUALLY I BUY ONES THAT FIT AND ARE IN GOOD NICK. I USUALLY JUST GIVE THE INTERIORS A SPRITZ OF ALCOHOL AND THE OUTSIDE A POLISH.
all in your size!?! you lucky devil! I'm a size 13, so I rarely have such luck, though I am wearing a pair of thrifted cordovan wingtips right now.
"Dead mans shoes", that's what my Grandfather called the thrif store shoes I wore in high school. (21 years ago) Wow, I must have been a head of the curve..
And maybe add some new laces as well... :-)Is the first pair shell cordovan?Nice finds - you seem to know where to go or maybe you are just very lucky.
